Wildlife viewing is plentiful from right on the property. Sit on the dock and relax while watching the fish jumping out of the water, the turtles coming up for air, and the crabs crawling in the water below the dock. Greet the occasional iguana walking along the sea walls feeding on vegetation.
There are also exotic birds in the area viewable from the property. Watch the chatty parrots at the top of the mango tree, the pelicans patrolling the seawalls ready to swoop down for the occasional jumping fish.

You can take your boat down the New River, one mile past Riverwalk, take a right at the the Intracoastal Waterway and go south one mile out to the Ocean via the Port Everglades Outlet! It's a short and scenic 1/2 hour boat ride right from the back yard to the ocean outlet.
